L'atelier des 1000 is pleased to present for sale today this superb Land Rover Defender 110 TD4 in a beautiful white colour with black details. Versatile and reputedly indestructible, the Defender can do it all! Produced since 1985, the original recipe has changed very little, and this 2007 version retains most of what made the Defender such a success, with the added bonus of comfort. The 110 is the ideal companion, just as efficient for everyday use as it is for your escapades in the countryside or mountains, with a capacity of up to 7 people. On the engine side, it is equipped with the famous Puma 2. 4 turbo diesel engine, which develops 90 hp. The TD4 replaces the TD5 in 2007 and has 20% more torque, but above all, it will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox compared with 5 previously, which literally transforms its road handling. Our example is of Spanish origin and has a French 7-seater registration document. This Defender is in very good shape, as can be seen from the maintenance invoices totalling more than €6, 000 over the last few years. Mechanically, the engine is in good health. It has been regularly serviced and the starter has recently been replaced.
A circuit breaker was added at the same time as the battery was replaced in 2023. The gearbox guides and locks its gears correctly, and was flushed along with the axles in 2023. The car will benefit from a new clutch as well as basic servicing before sale. The running gear is sound. The stabiliser bar ball joints and many of the silentblocs have recently been replaced. The steering does not show any abnormal play, thanks in particular to the replacement of the lower steering column and the steering ball joints. The suspension does its job perfectly and the braking is effective and balanced. The rims look very good and are fitted with Ranger tyres that are in excellent condition. The bodywork looks good, the paintwork is superb and has retained all its shine.
Recent bodywork work has been carried out to give this Defender a very attractive appearance: - Black roof paint - Black light grilles - Black aluminium rocker panels - Black fender guards - Black aluminium corners - Black bumper paint. The underpinnings look good and are free from perforating corrosion. The upholstery is in very good condition, as is the rest of the interior.
