Description
Renault 21 Baccara – An authentic survivor:
I am offering for sale a Renault 21 Baccara, a model that's particularly rare, whose very existence is sometimes questioned. This one was bought new by my father and has never changed hands. It notably served as the basis for the article published in Youngtimer Magazine in May 2021.
The vehicle was used daily until 2000. It was put into storage in the province near Poitiers. In 2013, it was fully renovated at Capitol Sport Classic, a well-known garage in the region.
Since then, the vehicle has been used regularly in the area, without really racking up miles. It has just over 143, 000 km on the clock.
The MOT/ technical inspection was carried out in June 2025 and notes:
- the indicator/ turn signal does not return automatically
- the left front fog light is poorly adjusted
- the inspection notes a bodywork defect on the left side, the side skirt was detached at the time of the inspection but has since been repaired.
The vehicle is serviced every year at the local Renault dealer.
Everything on the vehicle works except the cruise control which has just failed.
In short, there are no major works needed on this vehicle, which is very pleasant and comfortable to drive.
This vehicle is aimed at enthusiasts.
I do not appreciate the mind-set of salespressure.
