The Pontiac Le Mans, launched in the early 60s, distinguished itself by its accessible charm, offering a sporty alternative to family cars while flirting with the muscle-car style. The range expanded by offering increasingly bigger engines, from the 4-cylinder up to the enormous V8, and it is available as a coupe, cabriolet, saloon and even a estate.

The vehicle we are offering is an exceptional Pontiac Le Mans GT equipped with the Big Block 455 HO, in its most desirable cabriolet configuration. This very rare car (produced in just 33 examples) has recently benefited from a body restoration and is in superb condition.

This Pontiac is a model delivered new in Canada in November 1971. Its current owner has owned it since its arrival in France in 2018.

The vehicle retains its period Sundance Orange paint and its white faux leather interior. It originally comes with power steering, electric windows (4) and an electric hood.
STATE
Our Pontiac benefited from a 2018 body restoration by Prestige Car Factory (formerly Sixty Six Auto Shop), specialists in American cars. A photo dossier and an invoice detail the work carried out.
A 2020 appraisal confirms the high quality of the restoration. The lines and flushness of the body elements are uniform. No corrosion is present, and the chrome is in excellent condition. A slight orange-peel texture is noted on the left front wing.
The vehicle has covered very little mileage since the restoration and the appraisal, having retained its exceptional condition.
The interior is in very good condition, much better than average for a car of this age. The front seat bolsters are slightly marked; a new pair is supplied with the vehicle.
All electrical systems are functional. The V8 and the gearbox operate perfectly, delivering a flawless driving experience. No work is required.
