You are seeking the exclusivity and rarity of the very latest air‑cooled, naturally aspirated Porsche 993. This is the specimen that will celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary, as well as the end of production of the Porsche Type 993.
Our Porsche 911 Type 993 with a 6‑speed manual gearbox, paired with its 3. 6‑litre flat‑6 delivering 285 hp, is one of the very few produced in the 2S version and, moreover, this one marks the end of the 993 career with the ultimate Vesuvio version. The manual gearbox version is the grail and the rarest of the Vesuvio 2S versions.
Straight from the Porsche Exclusive department, the Porsche 993 Vesuvio was designed to celebrate the brand’s 50th anniversary. The mirrors, door handles, rear grille and wheels wear a Steel Grey (also called Satin Grey) colour. A few interior elements echo this shade, such as the dial surrounds.
L’Essence de L’Automobile presents this example from 10/ 07/ 1997, a third‑hand car, and having remained with its last owner for more than 20 years. Equally rare is its mileage, only 125, 000 km, certified by a comprehensive service history and invoices.
A coat of paint was redone a few years ago. Its 18‑inch Tramont wheels are in excellent condition as are its tyres. We also have the original wheels, unique to the model and specific to the Vesuvio, which will be supplied with the vehicle.
This car has just undergone a full overhaul with the Parisian air‑engine specialist, including replacement of its clutch and flywheel. Its invoice history is complete, it has 2 keys and all its booklets accompany our example.

For purists and discerning collectors, this final Vesuvio version will remain the rarest and most desirable of the Porsche Type 993 2S, produced in only between 60 and 100 units depending on sources.
