Description
This 1996 Ferrari F355 Spider is a third-hand vehicle with a clear and particularly well-documented history. The first owner bought the car new in Turin and kept it for 11 years. The second owner took possession in 2007 and kept it for 9 years. The current owner has had the car for almost ten years and has never hesitated to incur the necessary expenses for its maintenance and reliability.
The car has always been serviced by recognised marque specialists as well as at various Ferrari workshops. A very substantial file of invoices accompanies the car, proving a serious and rigorous maintenance history over many years. This Ferrari has always been in the hands of passionate owners who have treated it with great care and looked after it meticulously.
It is delivered with all of its original components, including the manuals, maintenance booklet, complete toolkit, the spare keys, as well as a GPS tracker. A set of photos detailing the engine restoration is also provided on a USB drive.
Mechanical condition
The mechanical condition of this Ferrari F355 Spider is excellent. The engine was completely rebuilt in 2019 at 80, 000 km at WDB Engineering, ensuring a healthy and reliable mechanical base. A full service including the timing belt/ chain was completed in November 2025 at BF Moteur, at 91, 478 km.
An especially important point to emphasise concerns the electronically controlled suspensions: the original plastic gears, known to be a weakness on the F355, have been replaced with metal gears, allowing full and durable reliability of the system.
Generally, all known issues of the Ferrari F355 have been addressed by the current owner. Today, the car shows 92, 400 km and presents as a vehicle perfectly ready to hit the road and cover any distance.
Interior condition
The interior is in very good overall condition for the age of the vehicle. The leather upholstery shows a beautiful, even patina.
There is a slight wear on the bolster of the driver's seat back, as well as a slight leather shrinkage on the dashboard, a phenomenon well known on Ferraris of this generation. Aside from these items, the cabin is very sound and all equipment functions perfectly, including the electric seat adjustments.
The electric hood operates perfectly, with a smooth mechanism and no malfunctions, both when opening and closing.
Exterior condition
The bodywork is in very good general condition. There are a few light signs of use consistent with the age and mileage, but they do not detract from the overall presentation quality.
A Challenge grille accompanies the livery.
