After a professional polish using the orbital machine by our workshop, we noted very minor micro-scratches on the front face. The front and rear chrome bumpers are in good display condition despite some light oxidation marks. The 2 chrome mirrors as well as all chrome trim and mouldings are complete, aligned and in good order. We noted a small ding on the right-front light bezel. The black faux leather soft top is in good condition. The rear screen mica remains fully supple and translucent despite some fine micro-scratches. Its installation is easy and its sealing remains in keeping with era standards. This specimen is equipped with a chrome boot latch in perfect condition. The 4 original chrome trims are in good condition with very light oxidation. The set is fitted with 4 tyres with 20% wear front and rear. This specimen has its original spare wheel. Noteworthy exterior/ equipment items include the boot lock (luggage rack). Interior: The interior is in excellent condition. The black faux leather seats with white piping are near‑as‑new and show no wear or tears. The black faux leather door panels are in perfect condition. The wooden dashboard and cap are in good condition. The original JAEGER dashboard instruments are fully functional. We noted a small chip on the wooden dashboard. The 3-spoke wooden MOTO-LITA steering wheel and the wooden gear knob are in excellent condition. The period radio is no longer functional but has been preserved for aesthetic reasons. This specimen is fitted with 3-point seatbelts. The recently replaced black carpets are in excellent condition as are the Triumph PVC over-mats. Noteworthy interior/ habitable equipment includes the black faux leather upholstery with white piping, the three-spoke MOTO-LITA wooden steering wheel, 3-point seatbelts and the passenger grab handle. Chassis: The on-lift inspection confirms a healthy chassis and bodyshell, with no visible accident damage or structural corrosion. Fundamentals: ladder-frame chassis, sills, wing bottoms, wheel arches, floors and longitudinals are in good condition. Usage reserve: as a rule we cannot guarantee perfect alignment beyond their good visual and functional state validated during on-road test and lift inspection. During the dynamic test we did not detect any abnormal substrate noise from the body or running gear (ball joints, bushings...). Braking is aligned and its effectiveness complies with era standards. Front discs and pads show 30% wear. The rear drums are fully functional with no seepage traces. The roadworthiness test carried out by our workshop prior to delivery will confirm overall operation. Engine / Transmission: The mechanicals run perfectly. The snag list continues...
