Description
Beautiful example of a Porsche 928 S.
The flagship model from the manufacturer in the 1980s, this is a rare S3 version, a transitional rendition introducing the new 32-valve engine (4 per cylinder) of 5 litres displacement, which is later found in the S4, in the early bodywork.
This configuration was intended for certain markets ahead of Europe in terms of pollution restrictions; it was sold new in Japan, which explains its very low mileage of 52, 000 km, whereas European versions typically show 100, 000 or 200, 000 km more.
In recent years, it has undergone numerous refresh works such as:
– Full repaint
– Tyres
– Radiator
– Inlet hoses
– Timing belt and water pump
– Plugs and ignition leads
– Filters and oil change
– Front spoiler new
– Front and rear brake pads
– Engine sump gasket
The seats are electric and it is equipped with a sunroof.
It runs and presents very well, but there is still a need to give it a little interior care, or traces of its early life in Japan, under the sun’s aggressive rays, are to be lamented. This mainly concerns the seat side bolster reinforcements.
A pretty car in its original '80s shade, ready to use, and whose value is only rising.
