On display in our showroom in France (Atelier des Coteaux)
The Jaguar E-Type is one of the most iconic sports cars in history. It was first shown in 1961 by the British marque Jaguar Cars. Its sleek design and highly fluid lines instantly captivated observers. The car delivered impressive performance for its era. It could reach around 240 km/ h, which was exceptional in the 1960s. Its long bonnet and rounded rear give it a distinctive silhouette. The E-Type was also appreciated for its relatively affordable price compared with other sports cars. According to Enzo Ferrari, it was “the most beautiful car ever built.” It was produced until 1975 in several versions. Today, the Jaguar E-Type has become a genuine icon of classic motoring.
This car has been fully restored with meticulous care on a sound restoration basis, guaranteeing an excellent level of quality. It is a flat-floor model particularly sought after by collectors. A substantial history file accompanies the car, including its Jaguar Heritage certificate as well as its original toolkit.
We acquired it already restored by Jaguar specialists. Since that restoration, it has had only one owner, who kept it for almost five years in the south of France and covered only around 2, 600 kilometres behind the wheel. It is now equipped with a five-speed gearbox, the original gearbox of course being supplied with the car.
Presented in its superb original colour combination Opalescent Dark Green with a beige interior, this magnificent car has always been overseen and maintained in our workshop. It is now ready to hit the road and take you wherever you want to go, with elegance and character.
