The Citroën 2CV has, over the decades, become a genuine icon of French motoring. With its clever design, simple and robust mechanics, and a philosophy focused on the essential, it perfectly embodies the spirit of freedom, practicality and lightness that has marked several generations of motorists.
The Citroën 2CV6 appeared in the early 1970s as the most accomplished evolution of the famous Citroën 2CV. It features a flat-twin 602 cm³ engine, more powerful and flexible than previous versions, significantly improving driving pleasure while preserving the mechanical simplicity and robustness that made the model’s reputation.
The model we offer was first registered in Spain on 21/ 12/ 1977. Imported into France in 2021, this 2CV has had two French owners up to now.
This one stands out for its particularly desirable configuration as well as its excellent state of preservation, a testament to a well-maintained car throughout the years.
Mechanically, the 600cc flat-twin engine runs very well. It starts easily, revs up without difficulty and its set-up is entirely satisfactory. The carburettor is new and has been replaced for sale.
The gearbox works very well and the clutch performs its job perfectly, showing no signs of wear.
The drive is pleasant, faithful to the car’s spirit; the running gear is sound, and the recently replaced shock absorbers provide good roadholding and comfortable cruising on experiences.
The original wheels are in excellent condition and are fitted with tyres in good usable condition.
The paintwork is very good and offers a beautiful, uniform shine.
The chassis is sound and the undersides are free from structural corrosion.
The cabin is in very good condition and presents neatly, with no notable signs of wear.
The red upholstery is in excellent condition, it is comfortable and complements the exterior colour wonderfully.
The instrumentation is fully functional.
The red soft top is in very good condition and opens easily.
