The HMC Mark IV is a British hand-built roadster, inspired by the classic Austin-Healey 3000 Mk III (BJ8). It features a modern tubular chassis and a contemporary transmission, while preserving the silhouette and the unmistakable character of the original Big Healey.
Its powerful 3. 9-litre Rover V8 engine gives it exceptional performance and a captivating note.
The bodywork is made of fibreglass reinforced with Kevlar, with pressure-moulded polymer composite exterior panels, combining lightness and strength. Shock-absorbing structures are integrated into the bumpers, door pillars, sills and firewall.
Inside, the Mark IV combines traditional craft with ergonomics optimised for increased comfort. Only 170 units were produced on request, guaranteeing the uniqueness of each car and absolute exclusivity.
This magnificent HMC Mark IV from 1998, production number 0128, chassis number SA904943GWGLT0128 and engine number 47A08805B, comes from its first owner.
Its bodywork is painted in dark green “racing green” (BMW 289), matched to an all-black leather interior and green carpeting. The first owner covered 58, 750 unforgettable kilometres aboard this fantastic sports car.
