Our Porsche 356 is a 1955 Pre-A:
The current owner bought the car in 2023 through our office; previously it belonged to the well-known Porsche 356 competitor Jean François Penilard. He fully restored the car, and then took it to the start of a whole host of races at the wheel—sixties, fifties, Le Mans Classic, Tour Auto, etc.—with the car amassing numerous podium finishes.
The current owner will take it to the start of several Tour Auto events in turn, and without fail ending up on the podium each time, as well as at the Le Mans Classic.
The car received a brand-new engine two races ago, fitted by the French specialist Olivier Auvray (AMS). It’s now set up in a “race” configuration to FIA GTS specifications: it has a custom, long-ratio gearbox for Le Mans and is supplied with a short gearbox and transmissions, as well as a set of wheels. It’s now offered ready to race, with PTH up to date and eligible for major historic events such as Tour Auto and Le Mans Classic… this car is the ultimate weapon for winning the performance index.
