Capots Vintage, specialist in sports and classic vehicles in Lyon, offers for sale an Austin Healey 100-6 BN4 from 1959: Leaving the factory on 23 February 1959 in its Healey Blue colour with navy blue interior, it is an Austin Healey 100/ 6 BN4 that we are offering for sale. A 6-cylinder version of the "Hundred" model with the bodywork of the 3000, the BN4's engine was fitted with a new manifold and a new cylinder head to increase performance and develop 117 horsepower (almost identical to the Austin Healey 3000 BT7). Fully restored some twenty years ago, the bodywork of our car shows a certain patina with a few age-related defects. However, our car is very sound and shows no signs of corrosion. The mechanics and underpinnings (chassis, floorboards and rocker panels) are in excellent condition (see photos). We have the British Motor Heritage certificate to confirm that our roadster is completely Matching Colors and Matching Numbers. The body, engine and gearbox are all original, as is the interior and exterior colour, which was delivered new in 1959. An original detail is that the car is fitted with Dunlop-type wheels, setting it apart from its counterparts equipped with chromed spoke wheels. The car is fitted with a blue PVC soft top with roll bar, tonneau cover and sidescreens. There is no charge for this. It can be traded in for your sports car or collector's car.
