A rare version and all the more so in this condition, our model in its metallic champagne finish has been completely restored in 2006 by Étoile Collections in Paris, which undertook the following work: full repaint, refurbishment of the upholstery, cylinder head prepared for unleaded use, replacement of the exhaust, new shock absorbers, radiator and new hoses installed among other items.
Since 2006, this Mercedes 280 SE Coupé has been meticulously maintained, mainly by Étoile Collections, as evidenced by the €24, 000 invoice file.
In 2014, the bumpers, the white steering wheel, the upholstery and the wood trim were redone.
The file also confirms that the car has changed hands six times since 1984.
Today, our car is a genuine marvel in terms of bodywork, interior and mechanical condition. The engine compression test is perfect and confirms the overall state of the car.
