Very good Fastback, bought 17 years ago by the previous owner, and having covered 10, 000 km since without issues.
Bike which has undergone rigorous servicing (invoices) and a few modifications including the following:
1 single Mikuni carburettor (we have Amal in stock)
Timing belt replacing the chain with perforated cover
Front brake improved with disc and diffuser
Cartridge filter
Oil-down valve
Gel battery
Tank treatment (old poly) with excellent varnished paint and painted logos.
All these modifications are not specifically “reliability improvements” a trendy term, but alterations to evolve the machine.
An original Norton that has been well maintained also runs very well
It has electronic ignition but on a rewired electrical circuit
So isolastic adjusted, no porous head (it happens), perfect road holding, suspension.
Everything is in perfect condition
In use, the machine proves itself by its coherence... it’s a very good Norton that deserves a new road-going history in good hands.
