According to the VMCC certificate, this P11 was built by Norton Villiers on 10 July 1967 and then shipped to Berliner, New York, Norton’s official US importer at the time.
Today the P11 is regarded as one of Norton’s rarest and most sought-after models from the late 1960s. It pairs the Norton Atlas 750 engine with the Matchless racing frame, designed for the American desert racing market.
The bike presents very well and retains the distinctive lines and presence of the true P11s:
- high-level desert-sled style exhausts
- aluminium mudguard
- fuel tank and side panels in keeping with the model’s spirit
- P11’s characteristic riding position and geometry
An older restoration of high quality, carried out in an authentic spirit without museum-grade over-restoration.
The bike starts, runs and rides well.
Great road presence, Atlas-tuned engine and the typical character of the English twin of that era.
Sold with:
- UK V5C
