Description
Ferrari 512 BB « Competizione Stradale » 1977 – Carrozzeria AutoSport by Bacchelli & Villa
One of only 929 carburettor Ferrari 512 BBs produced between 1976 and 1981 – but this particular example stands apart.
Chassis 21513, originally delivered by Autorimessa Crivellari in Venice, was modified at the time by Carrozzeria AutoSport (now Bacchelli & Villa), the same craftsmen who contributed to the Ferrari 512 BB LM race programme.
Presented in its stunning Giallo Modena hue with a black leather interior, this car is equipped with a riveted aluminium competition bodywork featuring widened arches, roof air intakes, deep front and rear spoilers, as well as NACA air ducts.
Under the hood lies a 4. 9‑litre replacement flat‑12 engine, sourced from ** Charles Pozzi (Paris)**, developing around ** 420 hp** thanks to four triple-throat Weber carburettors. It is paired with a five‑speed manual gearbox. The engine was refreshed in 2020 and the cylinder heads were prepared by ** Mugello Engineering (Netherlands)**.
The cockpit houses Daytona‑style seats, red Sabelt harnesses, a roll cage adorned with historic ACI decals, a Ferrari‑grid gear lever, air conditioning and a MOMO steering wheel. Period details include a Pioneer cassette radio with equaliser and a fire extinguisher.
Sitting on 15‑inch Ferrari wheels with quick‑release centre nuts and tyres ** Pirelli Cinturato P7** (2020), the suspension features coil springs with anti‑roll bars at both ends.
The original manuals, tools, documents, spare wheel, 288 GTO‑style mirrors and the Italian registration complete this exceptional package.
A truly unique example. Delivered new by the factory, modified in period and offering a mechanical spectacle in pristine form.
** Not a showroom car. Not an homage. Not a replica.**
** It is the authentic, characterful Ferrari: raw, rare and ready to hit the road.**
