Description
Ferrari 512 BB with carburettors. The most sought-after version. Sold new by SA. MO. CAR (Ferrari dealer in Rome), it was red with a black leather interior, as was common at the time. A few years later it was exported to the United States.
Fifteen years later, after three owners in America, it was imported into Italy by a prestigious restorer who undertook a total restoration because the car had been immobilised for quite a long time. The restoration lasted two years and consisted of rebuilding everything from new: engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes, electrical system, bodywork, paintwork and interior. Nothing was forgotten. Once the restoration was complete, the car was bought by a Spanish collector who used it very little (less than 6, 000 km). Today the car has only 66, 000 km since leaving the factory. A complete restoration file exists. Just after being restored, the car was certified by Ferrari Classiche in 2015. As mentioned above, the colours are not matching but all the mechanical parts are.
The fact that the car was imported from the USA and that the two subsequent owners are professionals, offers the advantage of being able to invoice the car with visible VAT. It is currently in Spanish papers and visible with us. We speak French. Parliamo italiano. We speak English. Hablamos español.
