Description
Ferrari 512 BB with carburettors. The most sought-after version.
Sold new by SA. MO. CAR (Ferrari dealer in Rome).
It was red with a black interior leather, as was common at the time.
A few years later it was exported to the United States.
Fifteen years later, after three owners in America, it was imported into Italy by a prestigious restorer who undertook a full restoration because the car had been off the road for quite a long time.
The restoration lasted two years and involved rebuilding everything to new: engine, gearbox, suspensions, brakes, electrical installation, bodywork, paint, interior. Nothing was forgotten.
Once the restoration was finished, the car was purchased by a Spanish collector who used it very little (less than 6, 000 km).
Today the car has only 66, 000 km from factory.
There exists a complete restoration file.
Just after being restored, the car was certified by Ferrari Classiche in 2015.
As indicated above, the colours are not matching but, on the other hand, all mechanical components are.
The fact of having been imported from the United States and the next two owners being professionals offers the advantage of being able to invoice the car with apparent VAT.
It currently has Spanish papers and is visible with us.
