Ford Mustang Fastback Code C - 1966
Gearbox: AUTOMATIC
Engine: V8 289 ci Code C
Mileage: 65, 000 miles (odometer)
The Ford Mustang Fastback is one of the most iconic American cars of all time. With its "2+2" silhouette, long bonnet and V8 engine, it is today one of the most sought-after models by classic car enthusiasts.
The example we are offering is a 1966 Mustang Fastback Code C, imported to France in 2007 and in the hands of the same owner since 2012. This is a car that has been carefully maintained, having benefited from numerous works over the years to maintain an excellent level of reliability. It has also been professionally inspected, providing genuine transparency.
Presented in its Antique Bronze finish, particularly elegant and uncommon, this Mustang is equipped with the famous V8 289 ci Code C engine, a smooth, reliable motor offering the distinctive sound of American muscle cars.
Mechanically, the car is in particularly good condition. Many components have been recently replaced, including the carburettor, cylinder heads, hoses, fuel pump, ignition system, a large part of the cooling circuit as well as a gearbox service. The chassis is also in excellent condition with new front and rear chassis rails, which is a real strong point on this type of vehicle.
It also features the highly sought-after Rally Pac, an iconic Mustang accessory from this era that further reinforces its authenticity.
The car presents very well in its current state, but a complete respray along with some hardware and trim details (notably the steering wheel) will bring it to an exceptional level of presentation. This is why its price is deliberately positioned below the value of an equivalent example in perfect condition.
Price shown excluding registration and preparation costs.
