Description
Second owner since 2000; ASI certified since 2009. Built in 1989 and registered in 1990. I've driven it approximately 50, 000 km; total mileage is 187, 700 km. It's a road car — never used in competition — equipped with the original 103 bhp petrol engine (Rally version, second series). The car is in the same condition as when I purchased it, although I have the original stickers, steering wheel, gear knob, sump guard, etc., to restore it to a strictly original configuration. The carburettor has been professionally tuned twice during my ownership and runs perfectly with the correct spark plugs. It's fitted with seats from a 1600 GTI (installed by the previous owner) and sports suspension; I've installed drilled brake discs, braided brake hoses and auxiliary oil pressure and temperature gauges (Delta model). I also have the original sump guard, spare front driveshafts (left and right), new original stickers, spare mirrors and wing extensions, a road-legal Supersprint exhaust (plus the original exhaust), and the sports steering wheel and original steering wheel.
