A survivor of British automotive history, our TR8 Coupé is one of just 300 examples produced and currently displays an original mileage of 3, 900 miles. When it was presented on Bring a Trailer in 2015, it showed 1, 800 miles, confirming that it has been preserved in near-new condition.
Delivered new by Triumph dealer Motor Service Co. of Rapid City, South Dakota, this TR8 remained in their care for 34 years. The car still retains its original Motor Service Co. bumper sticker, testament to its authenticity and provenance.
The paintwork displays fine crazing beneath the lacquer, natural evidence of ageing over 46 years. A genuine asset, giving this TR8 an authentic and inimitable patina that no restoration could ever replicate.
Our TR8 is registered in Belgium under Oldtimer status.
