This Excalibur Series IV was registered in 1985 and holds a French historic vehicle registration (carte grise de collection). It has remained in very fine condition over the years and has always been driven with care. It has not been converted or modified, making it a faithful, original example equipped with its period components. A battery cut-off switch has been fitted for everyday convenience.
In remarkable quality and flawless finish, this is an exceptional example both in its presentation and in its running.
Mechanical condition
The car is powered by a robust V8 engine, mated to a 3-speed automatic gearbox. It is fitted with power steering. No faults to report; the mechanical package is reliable and performs well.
Bodywork / Exterior
The bodywork is presented in a two-tone silver and black livery, which showcases its Art Deco-inspired lines for this one-of-a-kind convertible. The paint is recent, applied flawlessly to an exceptional standard. The chrome trim is complete and in good condition. Both side-mounted spare wheels, the wire-spoke wheels and the full set of model-specific lamps are present. The electric hood is in perfect condition and operates normally.
Interior
The interior is trimmed in full-grain black leather with light-coloured piping, in perfect condition. The dashboard woodwork is stunning and adds a classic, elegant touch.
The electrical equipment (windows, instrumentation) is fully functional.
