We are delighted to present this lovely series 2, previously sold by us several years ago. On the outside, the vehicle has lots of nice period features such as 650 tyres, wing-mounted mirrors, bonnet mounted spare, rear grab handles, vintage numberplates and a recent canvas completes the look. A towbar and electrics has been fitted to allow towing. All of these features combine to make a really pretty machine.
On the inside, the interior is largely standard - a set of standard seats is fitted to the front, with deluxe matting to the footwells. The rear houses a set of bench seats to allow seating for seven, with a load mat to the floor. The only notable and desirable addition to the interior is the heater, an expensive option in these days which provides heat to the cabin.
Out on the road, this vehicle gives a pleasing period driving experience, and stops and goes just as it should. It is a joy to drive, and turns heads wherever it goes.
In summary then, if you want an original (and rare!) Series 2, rather than a 2a then this could be for you. With period looks, MOT and tax exemption and classic insurance it should prove cheap to run, whilst being a solid investment in the future - and it has enough seats to take the whole family on whatever adventure you end up on!
