Description
According to the Lagonda-Club about 30 vehicles of this type were produced only!
The Lagonda LG 6 was created under the direction of Walter Owen Bentley. As chief engineer at Lagonda he consistently was aimed at producing better automobiles than Rolls-Royce. In fact the Lagondas of this era belong to the pre-war cars with the best driving characteristics and the most elegant bodies. Further the Lagonda LG 6 is largely identical to the V 12 (LG 12). But with the 6-cylinder Meadows engine the LG 6 possesses a much more sophisticated engine at approximately the same power.
In the end of the 90`s in the USA this very rare LG 6 Cabriolet was extensively restored to concours condition including a complete new wooden frame. After returning to Europe the engine and gearbox were recently revised completely by the specialist LMB. The car has been used gently since restoration (about 15. 000 km) and proves to be extremely reliable and sporty in its handling.
