This my latest project which is very close to being finished but I've run out of time. Quite possibly ready for an MOT already.
Great lines and presents quite well with a few small stone-chips on the tank. The bikini fairing can be easily removed if that's more your style.
Recent work includes:
- brake overhaul (calipers, master cylinders, goodridge braided lines …)
- new tyres
- electrics re-wired where necessary
- new coils
- pod filters, carby kits and re-jetted accordingly
- electrics and peripherals relocated under the seat to tidy-up the sides of the bike.
Things still needing attention include:
- very slow loss of pressure from rear tyre
- engine intermittently surges in 3rd gear
- engine temperature gauge works intermittently Starts, runs and stops well but a little bit of work still needed to complete, or further customise to your taste.
