Nearly original example with the V8 on carbs, not a tractor engine. Everything seems to be working ok apart from a few lights etc., even the heater blower works well. THIS RANGE ROVER NEEDS FULL RESTORATION (mainly welding to the chassis and body). Replaced fuel tank with a new one, stripped the carbs and replaced diaphragms and gaskets and fitted electronic points and she's actually running really nice and drives fine. Has the very rare original fuel cap. Despite being MOT exempt now, this will need to be loaded on a trailer and is NOT safe to drive on the road. Serious offers only please, thanks.
I believe this to be the original body and chassis, although some things have obviously been replaced over the years. Engine number does not match, it's a late '70s with 8. 5:1 CR but chassis number matches VIN plate and V5. Looks like the original colour was Sahara Dust. More photos can be provided on request. Open to reasonable offers.
