2001 MERCEDES BENZ CLK 55 AMG COUPE
This car has recently arrived into stock with us and owing to the large amount of cars we currently have we have decided to sell as a running project.
It is a local vehicle and has only had 4 owners from new. Comes supplied with all its keys and a full bookpack including original service book containing ten stamps, nine of which are mercedes main dealer! Last serviced at 130k , now displaying 133k.
Finished in stunning silver metallic with a contrasting AMG two tone leather interior. An excellent specification including full amg bodykit and wheels, memory seats, multi contour heated seats, dual zone climate, contrast stitching, AMG two tone steering wheel, black ash wood, cupholder, multi function steering wheel plus much much more.
The interior of the car is in incredible condition save for some discolouring on the steering wheel which can be easily fixed. There is no wear whatsoever on the drivers seat with is very unusual for a car of this age.
The bodywork is very straight overall but will require some remedial paintwork due to usual mercedes rust issues on cars of this vintage (inside edge of the front and rear wings, boot lock, inner wing and some stone chips that have started to rust on the bonnet also.
All of the mechanicals and electrical systems on the car are working fine but the car will require a replacement timing chain as it sounds pronounced at idle and we have had it diagnosed as such, the abs and esp light is also permanently displayed which has been diagnosed as a new control module (available for £30 off eBay).
This will make an excellent project for someone as all 55 AMG models are becoming very rare indeed and this has the basis as a very sound car having had very few owners and a good service record.
It will of course require an MOT also.
I have priced the car extremely well to sell as we have a large collection arriving in stock in the next week or so and desperately need the space otherwise we would be doing the work ourselves, as this was the initial intention.
