The is one of only 3 cars produced for the U. K. market in L182 Chiffon white (chiffonweiss)
The interior is equipped with full leather sports seats Finished in Marine blue with Chiffon white piping.
The car has been well loved and cared for since new and boasts a fully stamped service book with supporting invoices from Porsche main dealers and specialists throughout its life.
It has always had whatever it’s needed and in the past few years it’s had a lot of money spent in all the right places to keep the car driving and feeling the way Porsche intended. It’s extremely tight and precise in all aspects.
In the past 6000 miles the car has benefited from a new clutch and flywheel, a new exhaust, new torsion bars and mounts, new bushes, new tyres and lots of other small items to keep it in fine fettle.
The car had new front wings and a “glass out” full body respray in 2007 in its original chiffon white with all OEM fixtures, fittings and bumper rubbers.
The interior is beautifully original and in very good order, the seats, door cards, carpets and headlining are all free from untoward wear, it’s a lovely place to be.
The car starts on the button and drives as you’d expect from all the recent expenditure, there is absolutely no play in the steering or suspension and the gear change is extremely smooth and precise for its original 915 gearbox.
The bodywork is extremely good, there are absolutely no dents or scratches in sight and all rubber trim is as new.
The original Fuchs wheels are immaculate and all have well treaded, evenly worn Michelin tyres.
All electrics, lights, dials and switches operate as they should, including the electric sunroof.
The car is fully HPI clear, the mileage is correct and can be verified by every mot certificate dating back to 1990.
All in all this is a fantastic opportunity to own a very well sorted 3. 2 carrera sport coupe in an extremely rare colour with very good history and proveincence. It is not a trailer queen, it’s used and enjoyed exactly the way it should be but is always garaged and cleaned after use, it has just had a major service in July this year and is ready to go anywhere!
