mot end sept 2020 very original car garaged all its life only seen dry weather i have mechanically restored every part of this car but kept it original .. new brakes all round including hoses and master cylinder.. wheel bearings.. starter motor lucas distributor.. new tyres exhaust.. cooling system flush new thermostat and thermostat housing new heater matrix.. blaupunkt period correct working radio cassette with no wiring mods ... all 4 speakers replaced with same sized new ones.. roof is in top condition .. tonnau cover.. i changed the valve stem oil seals and the hydraulic tappets/ lifters and various gaskets and seals.. fully serviced twice a year by me.. new battery.. gear box oil.. reverse light switch.. etc etc etc.. this car drives beautifully there is no rot and all the paint and interior are original as is the engine and gearbox.. i have every receipt and mot for thus car since before it was bought including the original order literally every single item and repair and service is documented... i also have a you tube series on my mechanical restoration of this car over the last 3 years that i have owned it.. this escort is not concours but is in amazing condition for its age and always gets a crowd and sparks a conversation.. ive only done 600 miles in this car in 3 years and ive had a great time bringing it up to my perfectionist spec.. please come and look talk and drive.
