Here is my 1980 Mk2 RS2000, bought as a restoration project back in 2013 this has been restored into a fast road car. It’s recently had a new MOT fitted and has covered less than 100 miles since the restoration.

Shell:
Ford escort mk2 genuine rs2000 custom in riviera blue. Shell was blasted and a new complete floor fitted along with front panel, 2 x wings, fuel tank well, outer sills. Complete shell painted Inside & out & underneath. All underneath stone chipped. New chassis and colour plate tags fitted.
Running Gear:
Pr genuine group 1 front bilsteins, new inserts, alloy hubs ( RS Original Width / Track ), springs and top mounts. Rs crossmember & anti roll bar, both powder coated. Brand new group 1 bilstein back shocks, Genuine Ford Original 116LB Rear Springs, new rix engineering atlas axle 48' casing, tramp bars, genuine 3. 75 CWP, new 3J LSD. New cosworth calipers and disks on the back, New princess 4 pots on front with correct size vented disks. New one piece propshaft.
Fully rebuilt type 9 gearbox, rs2000 alloy bellhousing, Rix 5SP Rosejointed Gearstick. 2. 0 blacktop zetec brand new from crate, BDA Cam Cover, complete retro ford installation kit, new twin 45's, new 105 speed exhaust manifold, new group 4 fabrication alloy rad, new fuel line filter king, new facet fuel pumps. New ITG Filer and backplate, complete new stainless exhaust system from retro ford. New rix engineering bias pedal box with HIstoric Rallysport fluid pots set up. Wiring professionally set up and all wiring heat shrinked.
Interior:
New black headlining, genuine RS dash, Clock & Pod, centre console, glove box. 4 spoke RS steering wheel, rs black front and rear door cards new from Aldridge trimming. Rs roll tops front and back fully retrimmed @ Aldridge. New parcel shelf & NOS interior light.
Exterior:
New FORD front grill, new Historic Rallysport PIAA front headlights, NOS front indicator units & quarter bumpers, rix engineering lamp brackets, genuine rubber front spoiler, rs pinstripe, black wing mirrors & door handles, genuine 7. 5 x 13 RS Xpack alloys blasted and powder coated, fitted with new yokohamas. 6 x 13 Spare with new Yokohama Tyre, Rs boot spoiler, locking fuel cap, rs rear bumper & ends. Genuine ford bronze tint glass. New East Kent trim windows rubbers.
