A truly outstanding example 1966 MG Midget 1098 Mk11 Historic registered with Heritage certificate. Finished in immaculate racing green. The car has much history and this is only a brief outline . In 1997 a major high quality restoration was carried out by Stockport MG Classic Car Centre at great cost some of which included but not limited to : new front wings , f/ Panel, Inner wings, a posts, hinge panels, doors, full floor panel, inner & outer sills, rear wings, inner & outer rear wheel arches, boot floor, rear panel, boot corners, bonnet & boot lid , full repaint in ICI 2 pack paint throughout, all new seals, re- trimmed upholstery, some new chrome work , and some re chromed all with labour and parts invoices. There is host of further invoices coming up to present date detailing mechanical works and parts ie. Brake pipes, king pins , suspension , servicing , engine work , tyres and more. The Car has had limited use after this and won many shows and the restoration remains in near perfect condition throughout to present day. The car has painted floors with a light wax oil coating throughout for protection and looks and drives beautifully having had a recent full reconditioned correct 1098cc engine fitted in January of this year at a cost of over £1800- by a well known reputable old school engine rebuilder .
