Although the standard Sierra was seen as a jelly mould modern design for the masses Ford did well to promote the model with the amazing RS Cosworths inc the world beating RS500.
The XR4i was introduced to sit in between but still look very cool with its unique Biplane rear spoiler making it stand out from the standard car and of course also handle better.
Being built in Europe they were far better quality than UK Fords of the period and the fuel Injected Cologne V6 was a great lusty engine making it fun to rev and drive hard.
