FORD 4100 P/ STEERING 1980 CHEAP WORKING TRACTOR

Ford 4100 in good working condition, starts, runs, drives, stops, turns and lifts, cheap workhorse, use or improve, a lot of working tractor for little money, road registered, power steering, believed just one owner from new. Very original and untouched, just how you want to find them, even has the dealer’s stickers on the bonnet sides
Runs lovely, pulls away easily in top gear, very sharp brakes, smooth clutch, all gears high / low easily selected, hydraulics working, PTO working, comes with draw bar, top link, PTO cover, tipper pipe, front nose guard and home made front nose weights. Power steering turns to both full locks with no whines or groans. It drives very well and is super nimble in a tight spot.
Serial number present and we have checked the registration details at the DVLA, first registered November 1980, believed to be one owner from new, log book will need applying for.
4767 hrs on working tacho, pedal and mat wear suggest these are the correct hours, Ignition light is working, dash illumination, 2 front task lights and rear plough light work. Wiper not working. Oil and water in right places and the right colours, no water leaks. Very good rear tyres and fronts are fine, some age cracks but no slows or leaks.
Both cab doors open and click shut the cab is fully glazed, including the small shut off panel at the bottom of the rear window. some tin worm in wing tops but inner wings very good. Seat has lost its covering and foam, but a fetching cushion (stolen from someone’s granny) provides comfort.
The rest of the cab is very original and untouched. Rear window glass has suffered delaminating and one rear side window’s is Perspex. The locking catches are still in place for the lift up window but very stiff, we have squirted them with oil, but haven’t tried opening the window yet.
Cheap workhorse to use or improve, this is a useful size machine that will do a job.
