Look at this gorgeous little pick up, its as cute as a bunny chewing a carrot, in full working order, totally solid and rot free floor and chassis, 1971 model registered as a “Pick Up, Historic Vehicle” with free road tax and MOT exempt.
Just had all new tyres fitted, starts easily, runs well, all the gears select, good clutch, good brakes, all the side / head lights, indicators, brake lights, horn, wipers, washers, fuel gauge, speedo, dash lights work correctly. The last owner replaced all the floor panels and the chassis is solid throughout, it would easily pass an MOT and is fully suitable for the road as required of an MOT exempt vehicle.
Its been a pick up for over 20 years looking back at the patchy history file, it’s also been a TV star, featuring in an episode of ITV’s Doc Martin as a mobile butchers van, we have pics of it on the film set. Its ready to enjoy for shows, festivals, camping trips, rally’s or just fun but would also make a very eye catching advertising vehicle with no running cost of tax and MOT to worry about.
A handwritten list in the history file tells us the chassis, suspension, transmission and engine are from a 1971 Citroen Ami 8, the front bodywork is from a 1970 Dyane, bumpers are 2CV6 1982 and the rear window is from a 1982 estate tailgate. It arrived with us sporting some unsightly hexagon rear wings, we have made what we think is a huge improvement with round arches, it’s a one off unique machine and correctly registered with all the right details on the V5c log book.
Its a classic car, not a new one, its nearly 50 years old, not warrantied or guaranteed, we're selling a collectors one off item.
You’ll not find another to compare it against, cars are readily listed for £12k, its ready to enjoy and reasonably priced, not is a rush to sell and not excepting any offer thanks.
