Escort 1600 Sport. (1980) I have owned this car 5 years and spent lots of money and time on it bringing it to this standard.
It’s a South African import, in really nice original cond, still with all original panels, wings floors sills, arches etc.
It had a respray in its original colour of Sunflower before I bought it and it still retains a nice deep shine.
Upgrades it has received include :
5 speed Type 9 Gearbox
New Aldridge door cards, carpet and parcel shelf
Stainless steel Powerflow exhaust and new 4-1 manifold
New front/ rear and side window rubber seals
New boot carpet
Lowered at rear 1 inch
Period radio
New rear crank seal, recon starter motor/ solenoid
New battery, brakes overhauled
RS alloys powder coated. ( I still have original steel wheels if new owner prefers them instead?)
Dashboard has no cracks and the interior is in lovely original cond. I’m not interested in any part ex.
