Opel Manta A Series Rallye 1973
1973 Opel Manta Rallye, 1 of 500 cars built for the American market, Genuine Rallye and registered as a Rallye in the UK on an age related L-plate, California dry state car so virtually rust free, which is very rare for a Manta A, 4 speed manual. recent new clutch and a rebuilt 2. 0S engine.
I have spent over £500 on new bushes for the front suspension, a mixture of oem and nylon bushes from a Dutch Opel supplier aswell as having all 4 wishbones and subframe painted in gloss black.
New front & rear window rubbers (not fitted)
New lhd clutch cable (not fitted)
As new rear light lenses x4
4 new upper and lower ball joints
2 new steering gaiters
New Black interior roof lining ( not fitted)
2 Recaro seats to be recovered, they're rs2000 style from the 70's
Very good replacement door and side window rubbers (used)
New rear exhaust boxes (not fitted)
Upgraded 32/ 36 dgav weber carb and adaptor.
Spare original rear light lenses,
New genuine Opel battery tray recently installed,
I also have the original 1. 9 engine, should you want to rebuild it to keep the car matching numbers.
I am far too busy at work to finish this project and won't get the time to see it finished any time soon.
