The car was subject to an extensive restoration to the highest standards in the late '90s and has recently had in excess of £15, 000 spent on it, including a refurbished automatic gearbox, new radiator, power steering pump, water pump and a full brake rebuild (all invoices available for inspection).
The 6. 2l V8 runs smoothly and the car drives beautifully, having recently completed a fault-free trip to the South of France and back, proving its reliability.
The paint is in good condition and the re-trimmed interior has patinated nicely since its restoration. The car comes complete with original handbook, toolkit and a continental touring kit (spare distributor cap, points, condenser cap, ignition coil, rotor arm, bulbs etc).
As an older restoration that has seen regular use, any issues have been ironed out meaning that this is a usable car that can be enjoyed immediately.
I have owned the car for the last two years and have maintained and improved it regardless of cost. Its a comfortable and suprisingly practical car that offers great looks combined with continent-crossing comfort and performance.
