A truly superb example of the ever popular Vauxhall Cavalier 2. 0 CDI Auto 4 Door Saloon, finished in Rembrandt Silver with contrasting charcoal fabric upholstery.
Having recently emerged from a 10 year period in dry storage between 2010 & 2020, this remarkably solid Cavalier can be described as a true survivor which has very much stood the test of time showing very few signs of age at all, most importantly appears to have never been welded nor does it need any.
All common areas of concern such as sills, floor pans, boot floor & rear wheel arches are free from rust & are completely solid which is amazing considering it is almost 30 years old.
Having covered a mere 65, 000 miles from new the car drives without fault, goes through all gears smoothly, Sport Mode works as it should do & has recently passed it's M. O. T with only a few advisories, all of which have been addressed.
Given the length of time the car was in storage we have just had some light mechanical recommissioning carried out including a full service, list as follows:

- Water Pump
- Thermostat
- Power Steering Belt
- C. V Boot Clips
- Rocker Cover Gasket

All 4 tyres are matching & have plenty of tread, the spare wheel is still present & is a full size matching alloy with Firestone tyre fitted. The original tool kit is also retained in its correct storage compartment, as is the locking wheel nut key.
Supplied when just 6 months old by Normand Vauxhall of Heathrow on 19/ 11/ 1992 to a Mr Pemberton for the sum of £10, 995 who subsequently kept ownership of the car for some 19 years when it was then placed in long term storage.
With just 3 previous recorded keepers the car is a true testament to its previous owners who have clearly meticulously maintained it throughout its almost 30 year life & has always been kept garaged which has without doubt contributed towards how well preserved it is today.
All carpets have been kept protected with not only genuine Vauxhall over mats but the fronts with rubber mats also therefore show little to no signs of age or wear what so ever as can be seen in the pictures.
The headlining is near perfect with no sagging which is very rare to find on these cars.
All aspects of originality still remain present such as all owners manuals, both original keys & even the little leather sleeve used to keep the display panel from the radio which can be removed for security.
You genuinely would go a long way to find another example as solid & as original as this one, any inspection welcome.
