Selling my Monte Carlo 1977, owned in California and imported when we returned to the UK in 2019. UK registered, insured and taxed.
Chevy small block 350 CI 5. 7 Litre starts every time with no hassles, oil tight, smooth, quiet and handles far better than most vehicles of the era. Just done 150 miles to the Bridgewater Classic - details above.
Under the skin it is very similar to the early/ mid 70s Chevrolet Chevelle, and shares a lot with other GM marques e. g. Buick Riviera .
New brakes all round, tyres, radiator, dash cover (not fixed), window winders, door seals.
Paint, decals, interior are original, with some low impact improvements made recently.
Factory fit air-con and 8 track with a selection of cassettes for the genuine 1970s vibe.
Last year of the large 1970's Monte Carlo models, built in Fremont CA, sold by the Felix Cherolet in LA, owned and stored in CA since late 1980s with minimal milage (no tags after 1987) and resurrected in early 2010s.
The original build sheet was inside the drivers side door. Mileometer rolled over the 100, 000 while in the UK.
I dont have the time to improve so looking to move it on.
