Back in their day, the Capri was the car to have but not many people could afford them and settled for the family friendly Cortina instead. With the MKII only in production for 4 years original MKII Capris in good condition are extremely hard to come by and this example being the ‘S’ model makes it even rarer.
Fairmont are excited to offer this very original two owner, low mileage MKII Ford Capri S. First registered in 1977, it has been locally owned in Hornchurch and Enfield for all its life. Finished in the favoured Diamond White with contrasting navy blue and tan striped seats, it has also been fitted with genuine four-spoke RS Alloys. The bodywork and interior are both in excellent order with only a couple of small chips in the paint taking it away from being an immaculate example. Most importantly we can confirm the car drives superbly well and feels just like it should for the low mileage.
Having recorded 48, 000 miles in 44 years, the car appears to have been maintained very well and stored up for most of its life. The car will be supplied with original Ford booklets, manuals, service history, previous MOTs, Tax discs and SORN documentation. We have just had new discs and front pads fitted, along with the rear brake linings replaced. The car will be fully serviced, inspected and will come with a full year MOT prior to delivery.
