I have owned HF8097 for seven years and it has been in regular use throughout that time.
The car benefits from having a slightly later engine fitted giving the reliability of coil ignition. The dashboard switching is still wired correctly for magneto operation should the new owner wish to revert.
I have a correct type engine available by separate negotiation.
The brakes were relined front and back shortly after I acquired the car and still have plenty of life left.
I have also converted all the lights to LED, including flashing indicators front and back. The headlamps are also converted to LED which is a huge improvement. However this modification can easily be reversed if desired as I have not modified the reflectors.
This particular car benefits from an extended cockpit which creates room behind the seats for coats or luggage which is accessible without alighting from the car. The boot space is still quite usable with decent access.
The car appears to have undergone extensive work at Blue Diamond in 2006, the details of which are documented in the extensive history and works file.
Weather equipment consists of tonneau cover and roof as pictured. There are no side screens.
The car has not needed any major mechanical works while I’ve owned it and runs and drives well.
