Hi, we are Classic Mini specialists Paul Higgs Cars based in New Milton in Hampshire. We specialise in all things Classic Mini and always have a large selection available at sensible prices. We have many years of experience with these amazing cars and we try and match the customer with there perfect Classic Mini. All of our Classic Minis are carefully selected and prepared with a service and MOT and thoroughly checked prior to you starting your Classic Mini adventure.
We are very pleased to offer a truly stunning 1973 Austin Mini 1000 Auto. This matching numbers example is finished in one the best period colours of Teal blue with a wonderful contrasting Lime flower interior. This time warp example offers the pure seventies Mini driving experience as soon as you sit in the drivers seat and get out on the open road. It has only covered 33k in 48 years with just two previous owners and is accompanied with its original passport to service book and handbook and receipts from over the years. It still has its original tax disc holder and Triplex windscreen sticker. It was registered new on the Isle of Man by Athol garage and remained there until 2005. This Mini has been very well cared for an cherished and its wonderful condition speaks for itself.
On the road this Mini is a real joy to drive. You will instantly smile. The low mileage engine is virtually silent with strong oil pressure and the Automatic gearbox shifts smoothly, the ride and handling with the ten inch wheels completes the experience. Power delivery is smooth and this Mini keeps up with modern traffic and offers the true go-kart experience, put in in drive and off you go.
The interior is total time warp and is of the best original interiors I have seen. Nothing has been changed over the years including the original carpets and roof liner and if you are a big fan of seventies Minis as I am then you will fully appreciate its amazing condition.
This Mini has a fantastic original shell and I can no signs of any previous welding or panel replacement. The floors, sills and subframes are all in very good condition and still body coloured. The drivers side floor pan still has the original body tag and the engine bay is very well detailed and presented. It has been painted many years ago to a very good standard and it presents very well indeed, it certainly has been drawing attention wherever I have taken it. It has also also been converted to run on unleaded. It is ready to be driven and enjoyed as much as I have.
The Mini is fully serviced and will be supplied with a full MOT. It is also MOT and Tax exempt.
