Description
Yamaha's HL500 is a very rare motorcycle indeed, but only 12 Eatough HL500s were ever built. Michael Eatough made the frames for CCM in the 1970s and 80s, so this is a CCM framed machine. No one knows whether Eatough chose to produce these 12 machines, or if he was building a prototype for Yamaha to consider as the frame manufacturer for the HL project.
I bought this machine in 2010 with the intention of restoring it, however my business has taken precedent. The machine is complete pretty much with a new pair of Hagon shocks included in the price. All it requires is the nickel plate on the swing arm needs re-doing, all cables need to be made up, oil lines and fire it up.
This is a very rare historic motorcycle and is a very easy project to finish.
