This lovely Aceca-Bristol, being the first example to be fitted with front wheel disc brakes by the Works, still retains its original engine which has recently been stripped, checked and re-assembled by Pendine Works—itemised invoices are in the file.
The car drives very well indeed and the body and original grey leather interior trim are in lovely condition. The Aceca has an overdrive gearbox which is a distinct advantage when out on the road.
As the AC was made in 1957, it is eligible for the Mille Miglia and would provide a comfortable and exhilarating ride in all weather conditions.
The current owner bought the Aceca from Mr G Philip White, grandson of the famed Sir George White whose name will for ever be connected with the Bristol Motor Company. Philip used the car both at his place of work at Bicester Heritage and on many road trips and rallies.
