I am selling this on behalf of a close friend as it's not really being used now. He has owned it since 2012 (3 previous) and it has been lovingly maintained with a huge file of history and receipts.
The car is a a 2005 Jaguar S-Type SE 2. 5 V6 Auto, the car has just 40989 on it but might increase a little when it gets taken out for a run. The car really is in excellent condition and is almost showroom finish, there is the odd little blemish from natural use and age but nothing that is easily noticed, most have to be pointed out. It has a fresh MOT and has recently had a new radiator fitted and has a brand new battery with 5yrs on receipt is in the file.
The car is in silver with black leather and wood trim, the insides look and smell like new. It really does look like a new car and I'm sure the first person to stand in front of it will agree. It also has a new cover if you are wishing to store it as this is an appreciating classic.
It had the 2. 5 litre V6 petrol engine, which is a good blend of power and speed, so with fuel prices on the way up this is the practical one, it is no slouch either it has a sport mode for a more spirited experience but big cats are all about the cruise in luxury and this does it exceptionally well. This is an opportunity for a totally original un-tampered S-Type with a good colour combo.
The car has full service history with alot of main dealer services the last being 2017
So the spec, the car has the following:
Black Leather interior with light maple wood trim, the seats look like new!
Black deep pile carpet with black premium mats.
Electric Windows all round.
Electric adjustable Steering Column.
Electric heated seats with lumbar and memory function and easy access for driver.
Electric heated mirrors with power fold.
Electric remote central locking with 2 remotes (one could maybe do with reshelling as its a bit worn but really not that bad).
Electric heated front and rear screens.
Electric park brake.
Dual Climate control with AC that works perfectly.
Interior cabin Pollen filter.
Jaguar touch screen infotainment with Sat Nav (maps will be out of date but disks are available on Ebay for £29. 99 if you need one) I can point to which one, Jag stopped official updates in 2010 same for LR).
Auto lights.
Rain sensing wipers.
Front Fogs.
Headlight washers.
Cruise control.
Side Airbags.
Front and rear parking sensors.
Remote boot open (from fob).
Remote head lights (from fob).
6 Disc CD changer.
Traction control.
New car cover.
New battery.
New MOT.
Original spare with jack kit.
Tyres are all good with plenty of tread and the tracking was done tail end of last year with only about 100 miles since!
Fully refurbished alloys genuine Jaguar alloys with brand new genuine british racing green Jaguar wheel centres (not cheap aftermarket ones).
The wheels where in good condition prior to the refurb but the top layer has started to peel on the rear of the the spokes so they were redone.
There are all the manuals and the pin for the infotainment along with the paper file of history.
Pretty much all the extras apart from a sunroof!
I'll mention some of the minor blemishes now to keep it all honest but they really are hard to see so don't worry.
There are a few small marks on the drivers door from another car door (they are very hard to spot and possibly a paint correction expert could sand them out but honestly not noticeable unless you really look hard) I'm picky too!
There is a very small scuff on the drivers side front valance right at the bottom, I think it was caused by something like a small branch getting caught underneath, again not really worth worrying about.
The rear parcel shelf has some fading to it but it is nearly 17yrs old so to be expected.
The rear brake discs look a little rusty but are all good and the surface is fine. It stops perfectly straight and true, it would purely be cosmetic to change them at the moment.
The MOT advised about a cover perished on one of the suspension mounts, I asked the tester and they said they have to note it but it a minor defect, they said there is not much point in changing it as the shock is in good order.
The MOT also advised about the brake discs but did say lack of use was the cause, it needs some miles putting on it.
The pictures do not really do it justice and I'm happy to take specific ones if you have a query or share the originals, the engine bay is all original and is really very clean.
This is not just a run of the mill example this is a keeper and it would be nice to see if go to someone who will look after it.
I have the V5 and if you wish to speak to the owner I am happy to arrange that or we can meet with him on the day of collection if you wish.

We are not in a rush to sell and open to sensible offers as we are confident that you will not find many, if any around like this one.
I'm not a trader so the car will be sold as seen but you are more than welcome to bring a mechanic down with you to inspect it and feel free to do a check like an HPI or the likes.
We are based in Southampton right on the coast.
Payment wise I would prefer a bank transfer on the day or before and can't let the car go until the money is in the account, if anyone does want to do cash then it will need to be in the new style notes and no £50's please.
I can deliver the car locally if it helps but money would need to be received before I leave.
There is also about half a tank of premium unleaded in there too.
