During my ownership I have gone over the car with a fine tooth comb improving what was already a good example, with works including all round alloy wheel refurbishment, four new tyres, new replacement cambelts, auxiliary belt, water pump, spark plugs, coolant change, oil change, renewal of filters, replacement VIS motors, repair of the cars SCU and various other minor mechanical and cosmetic improvements. The floors are in good condition (never welded) and the headlining is not sagging.
Over 15 year on since its launch the facelift ZS 180 saloon remains the pinnacle of the ZS range, with its aggressive body kit and outrageous spoiler. This highly original example of MG Rover’s 2000’s hot hatch, widely regarded as one of the finest handling cars of its day, has the mechanical works carried out that back up its excellent cosmetics to ensure it is a true classic in years to come.
