Classic 500cc O. H. C. shaft drive twin.
Rebuilt by a previous owner between 2005 and 2010. There are a large number of receipts supporting the rebuild, mostly from Stewart Engineering.
Between 2011 and 2018 the bike was owned by 2 subsequent owners who appear to have stored the bike without riding it.
I bought the bike in May 2018 and recommissioned it for the road since it had been unused for between 7 and 8 years.
In the years I have owned it I have ridden it for about 500 miles.
All original metalwork with no fibreglass replicas.
Original 6volt electrics with the dynamo charging well.
Original transferable registration number.
There is an active and friendly owners club (the Sunbeam Owners Fellowship) and spare parts and technical help are readily available from Stewart Engineering (established 1960).
