Mot feb 2023, no advisories.
The car was dry stored for many years. (The previous owner said he ran the car around the block regularly) I had the car recommissioned in feb last year. Work done included -
All belts and fluids.
4 new Goodyear tyres.
Full service including all filters and spark plugs.
Two new front spheres (the others were really good)
Rebuilt front hydraulic rams
Front wheel bearings.
New ac compressor
And lots of other detail bits I have forgotten about.
This year just before mot it developed a leak from the rear so I took it to chevronics to investigate. They lowered the rear subframe and replaced the faulty rubber pipe. All other pipes were inspected and found to be good. They also replaced the coil and ht leads and serviced the engine. They also inspected the car and found no areas of concern.
Also had both front wheel bearings replaced.
Underneath the car is absolutely superb. Bodywork is generally very good with a couple of minor dents (probably from storage) interior is excellent.
It’s on its original dealer plates. I had a replica tax disc made, it’s the little details that make a car and I intended to take her on the show circuit this year. There is good history with the car too.
The drive is something else, I love it and loath to part with it but I have moved house and don’t want to keep it outside. (It dosent fit in my garage) my whole ”fleet” will be advertised shortly including a Xantia 1. 9 auto diesel with 61k, a Peugeot 605 2. 1 auto and a Volvo v70 2. 5 auto if you are interested.
