Description
For sale is my rare Belgian Citroën 2CV, that was assembled at the Forest factory near Brussels in 1959. The car was then imported to the UK in April 1970, and has subsequently been converted to right-hand drive. As a Belgian model, this 2CV features larger aluminium bumpers, an aluminium centre strip on the 'ripple' bonnet, and a steering wheel featuring the Citroen logo.
Both the body and chassis are completely rust free. The bodywork is in good condition for its age, showing only a few minor dents. The 425cc engine was professionally rebuilt by a 2CV specialist in 2013, and has covered only a few hundred miles since then. Prior to this rebuild, in 2011 the mileage stood at 40, 000 km. The car runs and drives faultlessly.
Any viewing or test drive is welcome, the car is located in Newlyn, Cornwall.
