Something different for us! A pretty original 1947 Triumph 3T with some fantastic history. We knew the previous owner who purchased the bike back in 1957, he used it until 1964 and was then laid up in his dry garage until 2014 when it came into our possession.
We didn’t want the bike restored but subtle jobs carried out to keep it as original as possible. One of the exhaust pipes is new and the magneto was refurbished. The bike starts and runs well.
The previous owner had kept all his paperwork so we have a lovely collection or receipt and includes a letter to Triumph requesting blue print drawings which go with the bike. I also have some spares, see image.
The bike has a new saddle as the original was home made and had fallen apart. The tyres need renewing as they are rather old.
We have the V5c and original buff log book too!
