This unique car has emerged after 20 years in storage and just been recommissioned. If you are looking for a highly sought after classic vehicle in sound rust free condition this could be the car for you.
The vehicle started life in 1975 as a 1500cc MG Midget and was purchased by me in 1986. The engine was rebuilt in 1988 at 73, 487 miles.
Following an accident in 1989, when owned by my son, all the mechanical parts were saved and utilised by Keith Brading of Isle of Wight Frogeyes Ltd to construct the current car. In 1987 Donald Healey was highly impressed with the cars Keith manufactured and gave permission for all future models to carry the Healey name.
The car was lightly used until 2002 when the mileage at the last required MOT was 80, 232.
The chassis is a rigid, galvanised frame and the body glass fibre. The 1500cc MG engine, front suspension, gearbox, transmission, back axle, instruments etc were all reused including front disc brakes. suspension. New Yokohama tyres fitted.
